Lock Tour

Discover the beauty of the Maasplassen area during our Lock Tour! We take you on an adventure through the vast, 3000-hectare area of the Maasplassen in Limburg. Experience the impressive locks, beautiful views, and historical sights up close. During this Lock Tour, we will pass through three locks, overcoming a total height difference of nearly 15 meters. Another highlight of the tour is passing by the waterfront of Roermond, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the historic Natalini Tower and the Christoffel Cathedral. Another part of our route leads you through the specially dug Lateraal Canal, designed to shorten sailing time for commercial shipping. Here, you are likely to encounter a passing cargo ship on its journey.

Touristic Cruise

Experience the beauty of the Maas during our Touristic Cruise! We sail downstream towards Roermond, allowing you to enjoy the peace and beauty of this special natural area. Right after departure from Maasbracht, the ship heads towards the lock at Linne, where you will experience what it feels like to descend about 4 meters in a lock, a unique experience not to be missed. After leaving the Maas at the picturesque Herten, we sail to the South Lake, one of the most beautiful recreational lakes in Limburg. Here, you will pass the floating houses of Resort Marina Oolderhuuske and get a magnificent view of the marina and the water sports school. We cross the lake towards the island of Hatenboer, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Roermond skyline and the many waterfowl.
