Grensmaas Tour Cruise

Immediately after departure from Maasbracht, we sail along the Grensmaas towards Maaseik in Belgium. The Grensmaas forms a natural barrier between the Netherlands and Belgium from Wessem to Maastricht. We travel all the way to the point where the Maas is navigable for both commercial and recreational vessels. Near this point lies the Belgian recreational lake Heerenlaak. On the return journey, you will discover another Belgian recreational lake: the Spaanjerd. This lake still has active dredgers that extract sand and gravel from the bottom.

The Grensmaas is primarily a unique nature and recreation area. The bicycle ferry at Ohé en Laak, the watersport enthusiasts on the lakes, and the wild animals on the shores such as horses and cattle all showcase its beauty. The view of the Koningsteen nature reserve from the Grensmaas is breathtaking, and the gnawed tree trunks along the shores are proof of the presence of beavers. The total route takes 3.5 hours.

- Soft bread rolls (2 per person), generously filled with ham or cheese.
- A crispy bread roll with a Dutch croquette.
- Choice of:
* Limburgse vlaai (select this option instead of the bitter snack selection).
* Bitter snack selection (default option), consisting of:
- A glass with a crunchy peanut mix.
- Mild aged cheese cubes and slices of Limburg cervelat with coarse mustard.
- A mix of deep-fried snacks (4 per person), including bitterballen, mini frikandel sausages, nasi or bami bites (vegetarian), spicy spring rolls, and mini cheese spring rolls, served with dipping sauces.
- Coffee, tea, or Limburg tap water with lunch and cake.
- Two additional beverages of choice (excluding foreign spirits).
