Christmas dinner in Limburg

We have renamed the well-known Christmas brunch to a dinner cruise for several years now. This afternoon cruise is much more than just brunching… The cruise takes place during the afternoon hours, which better showcases the sailing experience. Moreover, this cruise is child-friendly, thanks in part to the special kids’ menu and the presence of Santa Claus.

Christmas Menu 2024

 

Reception with Freshly roasted nut mix with sea salt, green garlic olives, tapenade, and creamy herb butter with freshly baked bread.

Starter:
A trio of small appetizers served at the table:
Steak tartare with truffle cream, salmon with lemon-dill mayonnaise,
Limburg mustard soup with crispy bacon

 

Main and Intermediate Course in Buffet Style:

Braised pork cheeks with Cognac cream sauce
Beef stew based on red wine
Deer steaklets grilled on the hotplate with cranberry jus
Scottish salmon with Japanese glaze and spring onions
Pasta Aglio e Olio with red chili peppers and grilled prawns
Stir-fried vegetables with yellow curry
Potato gratin with a crispy cheese crust
Colorful rice dish with wild and white rice
Salad buffet, including Caprese salad, mixed leaf salad, and fresh raw vegetable salads

 

Kids’ Menu:

Appetizers: stuffed eggs and mini cocktails with fresh fruit salad and tomato cream soup
Crispy fried fries with mayonnaise, meatballs in tomato sauce, American pancakes. Kids are also welcome to enjoy the adult buffet.

 

Dessert, served at the table:

Limoncello mascarpone cake with lemon curd and lemon sorbet
A special dessert for the children.
