A typical Dutch lunch at a Dutch price: Soft white and wheat rolls (2 pieces per person) generously topped with young matured cheese or boiled butcher's ham, a croquette roll with mayo or mustard, including fresh coffee, tea, or Limburg tap water (2 cups per person). For the kids, we serve a pancake to decorate themselves.

• For the kids, we serve (sugar-free) squash, apple juice, or orange juice (2 drinks per person).
• Extra coffee/tea can be ordered on the spot (€1.50 per extra cup).
• Please let us know if we need to take into account any diets or intolerances, such as gluten-free, sugar-free, or lactose-free.
• If you do not wish for the children aged 0 to 3 years to have a pancake with drinks, please let us know. The cost for the lunch will then be adjusted accordingly.

Sinterklaas Entertainment

Rederij Cascade organiseert al enkele jaren een Sinterklaas act om u volledig te kunnen ontzorgen. Het scenario voor de sinterklaasperiode 2024 is nog in ontwikkeling. In ieder geval kunt u een interactieve en spannende show verwachten. Dat begint al bij het naderen van de Cruiseterminal in Maasbracht; daar worden de ouders en hun kinderen ontvangen door een aantal pieten. Bovendien worden er een aantal leuke activiteiten georganiseerd die gecoördineerd worden door de zwarte pieten zelf. Na een uur vol met activiteiten is er ruimte voor een ‘meet & greet’ met Sinterklaas en zijn pieten. Ze kunnen om beurten bij Sinterklaas komen; daar kan eventueel een (door u aangeleverde) anekdote verteld worden en kan er (indien door u gewenst en aangeleverd) een cadeau aangereikt worden.

Sinterklaaslekkernijen

Bij ontvangst zijn de tafels en statafels voorzien van allerlei Sinterklaaslekkernijen, waaronder: · Gevulde speculaas · Roomboterstaaf met amandelspijs · Mandarijntjes · Overige snoeperijtjes Bij deze lekkernijen serveren we verse koffie of thee en ranja voor de kids (2 consumpties p.p.).

Limburger Pie (incl. 1x Coffee/Tea)

During the boat trip you will enjoy a generous slice of Limburg pie from the 'Echte Bakker', with a choice of at least two flavors, such as cherry, apricot, apple and crumb. The crew serves fresh coffee or tea (1 cup per person) with the pie. For the kids we serve with the pie as an alternative lemonade, apple juice or orange juice (1 drink) or one other soft drink of your choice.

• Let us know if we should take diets or intolerances into account, such as gluten, sugar or lactose free.

• You can order extra coffee / tea on the spot (€ 1.50 per extra cup)

• We also serve Limburg pie for the little ones. If you do not want this, please indicate this in the 'comments' field. We then settle this amount in the confirmation.

Burgundian lunch

Our Burgundian lunch has been upgraded to a more luxurious version. We start with a cup of fresh soup, served at the table. Following this, we present a beautiful assortment of oven-fresh mini bread rolls (choice of white and wheat) luxuriously and generously topped with:

• Limburg ham with honey-mustard dressing on a bed of iceberg lettuce
• Beef carpaccio with truffle cream, Parmesan, roasted seeds, and arugula
• Aged cheese with a tapenade of grilled bell pepper with black olive and arugula
• Freshly prepared salad of free-range eggs with classic garnish of cucumber, tomato, and lettuce
• Marinated salmon with chive cream cheese, mustard-dill dressing, capers, and red onion
• Black Tiger shrimp with cocktail sauce with tomato and lettuce

Included with the lunch are fresh coffee, tea, or Limburg tap water (2 cups per person). For the kids, we serve fruit squash, apple juice, or orange juice (2 drinks).

• For children from 0 to 3 years old, we do not charge for soup and/or sandwiches. If something needs to be served for the very little ones, please let us know, and we will inform you about the additional costs.
