Harbour Cruise
During this two-hour boat trip from Maasbracht, you'll discover the unique character of both a commercial harbor and a marina, located in the heart of Limburg, a region known for its extensive network of harbors thanks to Maasbracht being a focal point for professional inland shipping and the Maasplassen as the largest recreational water sports area in the Netherlands.
We start our journey in the port of Maasbracht, which ranks among the largest inland shipping harbors in Europe. A notable sight is the Maasbracht Shipyard, where ships are placed in a dry dock for maintenance on the part of the ship that is underwater.
Next, our tour takes us through the Maasplassen to the Boschmolenplas and along the Nautical Boulevard of Wessem. This area houses one of the largest marinas in Limburg and is a hub for various companies specialized in the maintenance and repair of yachts and sports boats, allowing you to make a direct comparison between the worlds of professional shipping and recreational water sports.
