Mission & vision

Rederij Cascade is a young and ambitious organization that is constantly looking for growth. We do not just do that, there is a philosophy behind it ... Our mission and vision are the foundation of everything we do and develop. We state objectives that we continually adjust based on results and environmental factors. And where necessary, we adjust our vision!


Mission

Cascade is more than just a shipping company; it is a full day attraction and event location, where a 'water experience' is created ... Rooted in the heart of Limburg, located at one of the largest water sports areas in the Netherlands, where water is the connecting factor between historic places and the green hinterland. Cascade serves as an entertaining junction between land and water, which must be accessible to everyone! A place where an experience is created, which you certainly want to experience again, always in a different way ...


Vision

Although the signals for the economy are green, the recovery feels fragile. There are too many influences from all over the world, on which there is hardly any influence at national and even European level. Consumers will therefore have to make choices for the time being and that will ensure that the consumer becomes more critical at a fast pace. Through the internet, the current customer is able to postpone choices in their leisure activities until the last moment, so that they can get their maximum value from their choice. Internet is no longer a luxury; it is a primary necessity of life.

Nevertheless Cascade has the ambition to continue to grow. In the first place by enticing more guests to visit our attraction. We also want to grow by increasing the 'customer value' (spending amount per visitor). Not by implementing exceptionally high price increases, but by 'unburdening' visitors by offering a total package (read: experience!), which is fully organized and directed by our company.

These possibilities should be shown on a powerful online communication platform, also based on visitors from the Euregio (Belgium and Germany). As a result, we create supply from our own power and at the same time the regional core values are optimally utilized. This makes us less dependent on the economic whims of everyday life. Moreover, we remain extremely flexible until the last moment - through sophisticated automation between the web and our business processes.

Digital technology is used as a means here; not as a goal. The biggest goal is to exceed the expectations of our visitors, whether it is a short cruise or an event from A to Z. The guests experience our services according to international standards, but with a 'soft g', in which the Burgundian hospitality and Couleur Locale are reflected.

Goals

By releasing this website in a German and English version in the short term, we hope for a considerable growth of visitors outside the Netherlands. In addition, we aim for growth in the business part of the turnover, because the website reflects the possibilities in the field of business events better. By process automation, we also hope to increase the job satisfaction, because there should be less tangible work pressure. The size of the team can be tuned much better to the occupation of the ships.

In short: substantial revenue growth combined with higher efficiency must lead to our further plans in the area of investments and expansion of the current operation.
